“Too Many Mummies”. One of my favorite odd jobs in my twenties when I lived in Los Angeles was that of an extra in movies and on TV shows. I worked on several episodes of “My So Called Life” and even had a close-up in one. I stood in for Morgan Fairchild on a movie set and when the lighting guys needed to adjust the lighting for her next scene. I had a close up in “The Net”, but the scene was cut. That’s how it goes sometimes in show biz. It was worth it to see Sandra Bullock on set, though. I admired how friendly she was with everyone whether they were main actors, crew or extras. Nowadays I’m an insurance rep by day and artist by night. I have two lovely daughters who are also artists.
