Viking Drama was the highlight of junior high for me! I’m now working for a FinTech in HR as a Corporate Recruiter. I’ve been with the company basically since graduating college in 2015. Viking Drama & Warren’s Speech Team taught be a lot about confidence, tone, persuasion, the list goes on! My job today (although not in the industry) heavily relies on the skills I gained during this program. I was recently married and my husband and I just bought our first home in Raleigh, NC. I flip furniture from time to time and my husband and I are remodeling our home by ourselves (for the most part) – It’s funny because even the life skill of holding a drill, knowledge of when you’re stripping the screw and how to paint all came from this program and now it’s something I love to do! Jim – it’s amazing to see the amount of lives you impacted and going through this thread seeing the amount of shared experiences we all have/had has been really fun to read.
